This FAQ identifies the changes as they relate to the April 1, 2005 extension of NetFX's coverage for Nationwide access (US and Canada)
 

 

1.       What changes will I, as a customer, need to make?

§Change the dial-in phone number.  See question 4 below for actual numbers.

§Use your dialup username/login followed by @nfx.net.  For example, if your dialup username/login is currently johndoe, you will now login as johndoe@nfx.net.

§Enter your complete email address as your username in your email software.

2.       Will my e-mail address change?

No.  Your email address will remain the same.

3.       How do I check my email if I’m away from home?

From any computer connected to the internet, open a web browser and go to http://mail.nfx.net and enter you email address and password into the webMail interface.  For exact procedures with pictures and instructions, please visit the NetFX support page or you can contact tech support 24/7 at 877-232-7496.

4.       What are the new dial-in phone numbers?

The complete list of phone numbers can be found at http://www.nfx.net/netfxpoplocations.htm .  For your convenience, here are some of the Virginia numbers.

5.       Can I use my dialup account from multiple computers?

Each dialup account can have only 1 active connection.  If the system detects more than 1 active dialup connection, the account will be disabled and will not be useable until the first day of the next calendar month.  See NetFX Terms and Conditions (http://www.nfx.net/termcond.html) for further details.

6.       If I move, can I still use my NetFX account?

Yes.  You can now access your NetFX account from any of our 3500+ dial-in locations.  You can get the complete list of locations from http://www.nfx.net/netfxpoplocations.htm

 

 

 

 
Why NetFX
