1.  How do I check my email via a web browser?

Go to a web browser and type http://mail.nfx.net and press ENTER.

2.  How do I login to webMail?

Type in your email address in the "Email Address" box followed by your password in the "Password" box.  For example, if your username is johndoe, then type johndoe@nfx.net and click on the "Log In" button.

3.  How do I change my email password?

Please note that you are only able to change your email password and NOT your dialup account password.  If you wish to have your dialup account password changed, please contact tech support at 1-877-232-7496.

If you wish to change your email password, then on the right side of the page after you have logged into webMail, click the down arrow to the right of "Options and Styles...".  Scroll the list until you see "Password".  Click once on this.

The system will ask you for your old email password followed by your new email password (as well as a confirmation).  Please enter the information and click on the "Save" button.

4.  How do I logoff/logout of webMail?

Over to the right is an icon labeled "Log Off".  Click once and you will be logged off the system.

5.  Do I need to make any changes to my Outlook Express parameters (if you use an email client other than Outlook Express, then please contact our tech support at 1-877-232-7496)?

Yes.  Open Outlook Express and click on the Tools, then Accounts... menu options.

Select your profile (may not be the same as the one below) and click on the "Properties" button.

Click on the "Servers" tab and make sure that your "Incoming mail" and "Outgoing mail" entries both read as you see below (mail.nfx.net)

6.  Where/how do I change the dialup phone numbers?

CHANGING DIALUP NUMBER Windows XP

1. Click 'Start' -> (Settings) -> 'Control Panel'.
2. Double click 'Network Connections' (or, click 'Network and Internet Connections' -> 'Network Connections' first).
3. Right click on your NetFX connection icon (may be named something different).
4. Left click on 'Properties'.
5. Change the dialup number to a number local to your calling area.  Click here for a complete list of dialup numbers.
6. Click 'OK'.
7. Close 'Network Connections'.

CHANGING DIALUP NUMBER Windows Millenium Edition (ME)

1. Click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'.
2. Double click 'Dialup Networking'.
3. Right click on your NetFX connection icon (may be named something different).
4. Left click on 'Properties'.
5. Change the dialup number to a number local to your calling area.  Click here for a complete list of dialup numbers.
6. Click 'OK'.
7. Close 'Dialup Networking'.

1. Click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'.
